Based in Barcelona, Javier Sánchez Marco founded investment consultancy Obersis in 2007. He has also co-founded various startups as CEO including Furgo, Tapnex and Eventoprix. He has vast experience in the internet, mobile and FMCG industries. Passionate about new tech innovations, he is also an angel investor and supported Glovo in 2015.He graduated in agribusiness and marketing in 1994 and worked in the industry for over eight years at Grupo Ybarra Alimentacion. He has also worked in Mexico as director for Bravo Game Studios (Genera Games) until 2010. He returned to Spain as general manager for the company until 2012.

Tim Hart is an investor and consultant at Charlotte Street Capital, focusing on early stage and general tech businesses. He became a non-executive director at Nixplay and Creedon Technologies Limited in 2017. He joined the advisory board of Chorus Intelligence Ltd in 2016. He has acquired a wide range of finance and trading experience since 1989 when he started work as a junior trader at James Capel.  He has also served as VP at Robert Fleming, a director at Merrill Lynch and MD of Deutsche Bank.

Founded in 2000 by Hans-Jurgen Schmitz and Mark Tluszcz, Mangrove Capital Partners is a Luxembourg-based fund. It has, as an early investor, backed four unicorns, namely, Skype, Wix, WalkMe and LetGo, as well as a multitude of other successful tech startups. It participates at all stages of investment and has made over 120 investments, including as lead investor in 40 of these. It has seen 15 exits to date, including Skype and, most recently, has invested in the Seed round of Attentive.us and in the Series B of K Health and Series A of Flo Health. 

M12 is the venture capital arm of Microsoft, formerly known as Microsoft Ventures, founded in 2016 to invest in Series A rounds and beyond. M12 has invested in more than 70 startups to date and has managed four exits, all of them acquisitions: Comfy, Figure Eight, Bonsai and Frame.  M12 is especially interested in enterprise software and its biggest investment to date was US$114 in Outreach's Series D round. Total Energy Ventures is a corporate venture capital arm of French multinational energy company Total. Headquartered in Paris with offices in San Francisco, its investment focus is in startups committed to reducing CO2 emissions through groundbreaking technologies and innovative models applied to clean-tech and sustainable energy, transport and waste management.Total Energy Ventures invests mainly by acquiring minority stakes in backed companies. The company has invested a total of US$200 million in more than 30 companies, with three exits to date. Recent investments include in Peg and Sunfire's Series C rounds and in Tado's Series F round that raised US$50 million.

Next Chance Invest SL is part of the family firm Next Chance Group that was founded in 2010 by Nicolás Luca de Tena, a well-known Spanish entrepreneur and angel investor. Based in Madrid, the firm invested in the city's Spanish food delivery company La Nevera Roja in 2013. The "Red Fridge", acquired by Rocket Internet for €80m in 2016, was later sold on to Just Eat a year later. Next Chance normally invests between €500,000 and €2m on the scaling tech startups with annual turnover of over €2m. 

Abanlex is a Spanish law firm specialized in data protection and innovation technology. The firm has a team of cybersecurity consultants, technology lawyers, university professors and marketing specialists. Abanlex is well-known for its 2014 victory over Google in the 'Right to be forgotten' case, in which the European Court of Justice established the legal basis of responsibility of search engines concerning data and links appearing when searching for a specific name.Since 2011, Abanlex has been dedicated to defending blockchain project at national and European level, and has provided legal representation to companies in the legal-tech sector. 

Making Ideas Business was founded in 2012 by a group of 51 students and professors after the end of the 2011-2012 Master in Internet Business at ISDI, an international institution that offers training and degree programs in digital business management.Along with mentoring and industry expertise, the fund provides tech startups in the Spanish ecosystem with seed investments. It has invested €260,000 in five companies to date.The group today includes more than 78 partners and angel investors that, in total, have more than 1,000 years of professional experience and 50,000 hours of training in the internet sector.

Laura González- Estéfani is best known as the co-founder of Venture City. Established in 2017, the tech accelerator has offices in Miami in the US and Madrid in Spain. The director of one of Spain’s largest banks CaixaBank is also a board member of the European Commission’s Innovation Council. She has also worked for Facebook as a country manager for Spain and Portugal.González- Estéfani has also been a prolific private investor and business angel since 2016. She invests across ecosystems and market verticals, including success stories like Cabify and Spotahome. In 2020, she participated in the seed round of Spanish femtech WOOM.

Paul Allen was an American business magnate and investor. Best known as Microsoft Corporation co-founder with his childhood friend Bill Gates, he left the company after eight years after being diagnosed with Hodgkin’s disease. Allen died in 2018 at the age of 65, with a net worth of $20.3bn.His multibillion-dollar investment arm Vulcan Capital has backed tech startups around the world, including Spotify, Alibaba Group and Flipkart. Allen also owned the NBA's Portland Trail Blazers, the NFL's Seattle Seahawks and has a stake in the Seattle Sounders soccer team. He also donated over $2bn to philanthropic initiatives.

Founded in 2013 and based in Silicon Valley, AgFunder invests in agrifood tech startups globally with the mission of “investing in technologies to rapidly transform our food and agriculture system.” The VC firm has already built a global ecosystem of 85,000+ members and subscribers, which helps grow and scale its portfolio companies. It recently established the New Carnivore fund to invest in startups working to create animal-free protein alternatives including plant-based meat and cultured meat. In 2019, AgFunder and the Australian agrifood accelerator Rocket Seeder co-launched GROW Impact Accelerator in Singapore to accelerate seed and Series A agritech startups from Southeast Asia.

Nickleby Capital is a London-based VC firm that focuses on three main areas: (1) investment capital for companies in the scale-up phase, Series A, Series B, and buyouts, (2) advisory services leveraging proprietary tech, researches and industry network, to accelerate PLCs and private companies' growth, and (3) real estate, advising on commercial and residential properties globally. The firm’s investors are mostly family offices and serial entrepreneurs that have built market-leading companies. The Nickleby Capital’s team is founded by a team of alumni from Goldman Sachs, Rothschild, BDO and Korn Ferry.
