Stella Maris Partners is a venture capital fund based in San Pedro Garza García, Mexico with a focus on the education, healthcare and financial services sectors. It invests in Mexican and foreign startups looking to expand to Mexico and Latin America. The firm was founded by Armando Badillo in 2012 and has four other managing partners, Angel Alvarez Cadaveico, Guillermo Zambrano Martinez, Jesus O. Lanza Losa and Marcelo Antonio Benitez Akbo.

Founded in 2004, Active Venture Partners is based in Barcelona and has two VC funds totaling €74 million. The company has made 40 investments and managed nine exits, including cloud-based reservation platform Restaurants.com, business intelligence tool for hotels ReviewPro and ticket marketplace Ticketbis. The VC was the lead investor in 18 funding rounds to date, with the most recent being a €1-million round for sales and marketing platform Whisbi.

Bristol Myers Squibb or BMS is one of the world’s largest biopharmaceutical companies developing medicines in oncology, hematology, immunology and cardiovascular disease. It invests directly and via VC funds, including Life Sciences Partners (LSP) and BioGeneration Ventures, as LP. BMS is headquartered in New York and has 10 offices and facilities within the US and 13 in overseas locations, namely, Puerto Rico, Canada, France, Belgium, the UK, Ireland, Germany, Japan and China. 

Established in 1988, Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) initially specialized in fixed income separate account management for pension funds and institutions. Today, it has grown into one of the world's leading investment managers. As the primary investment arm of Goldman Sachs, it provides investment and advisory services to institutions, financial advisors and individuals through its 33 offices worldwide. As of March 2021, it has overseen over $2tn in assets across the world. 

Established in 2010, Flourish Libra Venture Capital is a Fund of Funds (FOF) management firm and focuses on private equity in Greater China. It has invested some funds under Jiuding Capital, Fortune, NewMargin Ventures, Tiantu Capital, SAIF Partners, etc.

Founded by Ray Hu and Alex Yin in 2014, Blue Lake Capital has about US$200 million under management, focusing on early-stage investment in vertical industry such as O2O, social media, smart hardware, mobile internet and education.

With a total investment portfolio of €2 million across six companies, Dueto invests primarily in infotech startups. One of its co-founders, João Ranito, was a former partner at Novabase SA, a Portuguese IT company that went public in 2000.

Founded in 2014, Frankfurt-based CommerzVentures operates as the VC arm of Commerzbank AG. The firm invests mainly in early- and growth-stage startups from Series A onward. Its portfolio features fintech companies such as PayKey and Marqeta.

Founded by a group of Tsinghua alumni in 2013, Innoangel Fund has invested in 200+ startups. With over RMB 2 billion under management, Innoangel Fund focuses on artificial intelligence and robotics, Internet of Things and the cultural creative industry. 

Founded in 2015 by venture capitalists from renowned Chinese investment firms including Morningside, Qiming and Ceyuan, Panda Capital focuses on early-stage investment in the internet sectors of real estate, automobile, finance, corporate services, logistics and healthcare.

China’s largest online classifieds marketplace 58.com was established in 2005. It originally focused on local community interest through providing free listing services. It listed its shares on the New York Stock Exchange in 2013. 

As an early investment fund, Jifu Venture Capital invested in Guangfa Securities, Liaoning Chengda and other companies. It has realized returns of more than 2,000% for its shareholders. Jifu Venture Capital was authorized by the Shenzhen city government in September 2004.

Huaxin Capital is a private equity fund management platform that was set up by Luxin Venture Capital Group in 2011. Huaxin Capital invests in the fields of biomedicine, medical equipment, internet, IoT, clean energy, high-end equipment manufacturing, among others. 

Los Riscos de Pedrique is family-owned investment fund and business consultancy based in Madrid, Spain. Established in 2014, the company has assets valued at €35 million and is run by Maria del Valle de la Riva.

Centro para el Desarollo Tecnológico Industrial (CDTI) is a Spanish government startup accelerator under the Ministry of Science, Education and Universities. Based in Madrid, it has invested in 13 startups since 2015, predominantly focusing on scientific enterprises.
