Carlos Castellano Aldave is co-founder and Technical Executive Officer of Spanish long-range drone technology startup FuVeX, where he has worked since 2015. From 2008 to 2017, he was head of R&D at the Public University of Navarre. He spent 17 years as technical director at electrical component manufacturer NACESA. Castellano holds two master's degrees, one in Communications from the Public University of Navarre and the other in Innovation Management from the Technical University of Madrid.

Pauline is the co-founder and CEO of Indonesian eSports team RRQ. He was a professional eSports athlete in the early 2000s and turned to management when he was asked to join RRQ in 2013. He is also Chairman of the Indonesian eSports Federation (FEI). Pauline studied at the London School of Public Relations in Jakarta. Established by the Shenzhen Government in 1999, Shenzhen Capital Group invests mainly in small- and medium-sized enterprises as well as high-tech startups in the fields of information technology, internet, biomedicine, new energy, high-end equipment manufacturing, etc. As of June 2018, it had invested RMB 37.6 billion in 889 projects and startups, 140 of which have been listed on 16 stock exchanges around the world.

Established in 2017, Educapital invests in edtech, HR and training tech startups. The French VC has stakes in 19 companies, mostly based in Europe, including participation in the €5m Series B funding of French Supermood, a contractor’s workplace engagement tool.In the edtech space, Educapital has recently joined a R$1.7m seed investment round for Brazilian edtech Blox and a €10m Series B round for Preply, a Ukrainian edtech specializing in online language learning.

Launched in 2013, Japan’s Rakuten Capital is the corporate venture capital arm of conglomerate Rakuten. It manages a range of funds, such as the early-stage Rakuten Ventures, Rakuten Fintech Fund, and Rakuten Mobility Investments. Its portfolio covers a broad range of companies, including C2C e-commerce platform Carousell, ride-hailing unicorn Gojek, and video game vouchers platform CodaPay. Notable exits include the IPOs of US-based ride hailing company Lyft and image sharing site Pinterest.
