Founded in 1998, Asiaec Partnership is one of the earliest venture capital firms in China, with about 20 funds under management. It has invested in 100+ companies, of which about one-third have gone public, with an IRR of over 35%.

Partner of Zhenfund, Wang Qiang (b.1962) co-founded this TMT-focused seed fund with his longtime friend and partner Xu Xiaoping, in collaboration with Sequoia Capital China, in 2011. The VC arm of one of Japan's largest internet and media companies, CyberAgent Ventures specializes in the Internet-related industry. It invests in startups at various stages from the seed stage. CyberAgent has 10 offices in 8 countries mainly in Asia, including Jakarta, Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen.

Silicon Valley-based investor Sapphire Ventures was formerly known as SAP Ventures, the investment arm of the software giant SAP SE, until 2011. Capitana Venture Partners is a venture fund headquartered in Madrid with a presence across Spain, Germany, Italy and UK.  The firm backs technology startups at their seed and early stage phase, investing between €200,000 and €500,000. Capitana's team comprises eight business angels and advisors with experience in corporate finance, investment banking and capital market financing.

Launched in 2007, Seedcamp is Europe’s first seed fund and accelerator. Founded by 30 European investors, it focuses on pre-seed and seed stage startups. It has backed nearly 200 companies, producing one unicorn. Álvaro Ortiz is a business angel with over 15 years of experience in the fields of User Experience, E-commerce, Communities, Online Marketing, Front-end development and Project Management.He founded Mumumío, an e-commerce platform that sold quality food directly from producers. Ortiz is currently the CEO and founder of Populate, a startup that builds tools and platforms for civic engagement.Besides being an internet expert and a founder of several startups, he has also been involved in fundraising for other startups.

The VC arm of Tsinghua University, THG Ventures was founded in 2015. It is managed by the investment team from the state-owned Tsinghua Holdings Ltd., which has specialized in venture capital investments since 1999 and is one of the first China teams focused on RMB investment. The team also founded TusPark Incubator and TusPark Ventures.  

American health insurance provider Blue Cross Blue Shield is based in Chantilly, Virginia. It is a subsidiary of Anthem Health Plans of Virginia Inc. The company publishes a BCBS health index, based on data collected from 40m members, that can be used by clinicians and other healthcare bodies for research and improvement of services. BCBS members have access to medical assistance, doctors and hospitals in many countries around the world.

Founded in 2012 in San Francisco, Joyance invests in the “vectors of happiness” that it classifies as areas of science, including genetics and bioscience, the microbiome, neuroscience, virtual and augmented reality,  and foodtech. It also invests in the area of social networking. Its investments are made through its management company, Ataraxia, and many have a European focus. It currently has 115 companies in its portfolio, with recent investments including in the August 2021 $3.6m seed round of Polish bionic limb manufacturer and in the July 2021 $8m Series A round of Israeli sports injury AI platform Zone7. 

Co-Stone is one of the earliest venture capital firms in China, with about RMB 30 billion in assets under management today. It operates growth-stage investments and pre-IPO financings, focusing on TMT, biotechnology, consumer and services sectors in China. It has invested in more than 80 companies, where Co-Stone was the lead investor in over 60% of the financings.

Singtel Innov8 is the venture arm of Singapore-based telecommunications company Singtel. It invests in companies that can potentially bolster Singtel's own capabilities in communications technologies, media services and customer experience. Innov8 has invested in companies at home and abroad, including in Indonesia, China, the USA and Israel. It has made exits through the sale of its portfolio companies (Viki and Tempo.AI) and via IPOs.

Albert Armengol is the CEO and co-founder of Doctoralia, an online platform for searching and booking medical assistance. He is also the founder of eConozco (sold to XING AG).Armengol has a healthcare and business background and developed his professional career in the healthcare and insurance sector. He later moved to technology and internet startups as an entrepreneur and angel investor.

Founded by tech entrepreneur and investor Teruhide ("Teru") Sato, Tokyo-headquartered Beenos is a seed accelerator and investor in startups from fast-growing countries such as India, Indonesia and Turkey, as well as Japan and the United States. Beenos typically invests between US$100,000 and US$3 million.
