Deutsche Telekom is Germany's largest telecoms company, with operations in over 50 countries and more than 178 million mobile customers. It is a major investor in tech companies and has managed more than 20 investments and seven acquisitions to date. Its most well-known acquisition is teleco operator T-Mobile for €828m in 2014. Recent investments include HypeLabs' US$3m seed round and the €6m Series A round of automated IoT platform Axonise.

Founded in 1992, Danish state investor Vaekstfonden is a growth fund that has financed more than 9,200 Danish tech and non-tech startups with total funding of 33.8bn Danish krone ($1=6.35DKK, or about €5.8bn), mostly at pre-seed and seed levels. The investor also manages funds from the Danish Ministry of Business, state grants, ordinary loans and green investments. Startup investments are normally carried out in cooperation with other public bodies such as innovation incubators. 

Boruide Investment was founded in Shenzhen in late 2013. It specializes in early-stage investments in IoT, artificial intelligence, consumer goods, entertainment and media.

Simone Investment Managers specializes in real estate and alternative assets management. It has property investments in South Korea and abroad in USA and Europe.

BlueRun Ventures China was founded in 2005, focusing on early-stage investment of companies. The investments are usually from US$100,000 to US$10 million.

IDG-Accel is a joint venture between tech media company IDG and Accel Partners, focusing on early-stage, late-stage and pre-IPO investments.

Lynx Asia is an investment advisory firm based in Singapore. Its investments cover a broad range of industries, from retail and real estate to energy and manufacturing.

European venture capital firm Advent Venture Partners was established in 1981.

Founded in Boston in 2015, Material Impact is a science-based investment fund backing products that make an impact on real-world problems. It currently has 10 companies in its portfolio, from seed to Series C investments. Its most recent investments have been in the $50m 2020 Series C round of SOURCE Global (formerly Zero Mass Water), the premier off-grid drinking water production tech using solar-powered panels, and in the 2020 $12m Series A round of  US electronics protective substance producer actnano.

Part of the Thai-headquartered venture capitalist firm Ardent Capital, Ardent Ventures invests in early-stage technology startups across Southeast Asia. In 2016, Ardent Capital announced its merger with US-based Wavemaker Partners.

Mountain Partners is a global company builder that has managed more than 90 investments in IT-based startups. Mountain Partners supports companies from incubation to growth stages to go global.

Singapore-based VC Jungle Ventures set up its SeedPlus fund in 2016. The SGD 25m fund is backed by a diverse range of investors including Eight Roads, Infocomm Investments, Accel Partners, RNT Associates, SGInnovate and Cisco. A fund run by Jungle Ventures partner and Indian tycoon Ratan Tata has also contributed to SeedPlus.Early-stage investments of SGD 0.5–1m are available for startups in Southeast Asia. The fund also provides hands-on expertise and support services, including resources from partners like Google SEA and PwC Singapore.

The Rise Fund is a $2bn impact investing fund co-founded by U2 front man Bono, Bill McGlashan and Jeff Skoll. The fund has partnered with nonprofit consultancy The Bridgespan Group to develop an evidence-based model for quantifying the impact of the firm’s investments.The global impact investment vehicle is managed by TPGGrowth, part of the multibillion-dollar investment firm TPG that focuses on growth equity investments and mid-market buyouts. As of December 2019, the fund has deployed $1.4bn across its investment portfolio.

Ufi Ventures is the investment arm of Ufi VocTech Trust, a UK-based grant-funding body created following the sale of Learndirect in 2010. With an initial fund of £50m, the organization is focussed on delivering an increase in the scale of vocational learning. The firm can invest from £150,000 to £1m as equity or debt in early-stage companies. To date, its disclosed investments include many UK public-private training initiatives, plus seed investments in two tech startups: soft-skills VR software Bodyswaps (£470,000) and childcare marketplace Kinderly (£325,000). 

San Francisco-based DCVC, formerly named Data Collective, has made more than 400 investments in its 20 year history, with deep tech and science in general its key investment interests. It currently has 148 companies in its portfilio and has managed 48 exits to date, including acquisitions by Twitter and Amazon. Its most recent investments have included in the April 2021 £60m Series A round of British antibody medtech Alchemab Therapeutics and in the March 2021 $75m Series B round of Israeli blockchain development tool StarkWare Industries.
