Co-founder and CTO of Attentive
A developer with over 10 years of experience, Pedro Araújo received his bachelor’s in Computer Science and his master’s in Informatics from the University of Minho. He worked as a web developer and junior programmer at several companies before joining WeDo Technology as a developer and analyst in 2011. In 2013, Araújo joined Network Locum as senior Python/Django developer, leaving the company in 2015 to start Attentive, where he still serves as CTO. Previously, he had co-founded Portuguese startup and events directory NovaWeb with his brother Daniel. NovaWeb closed in 2015.

He co-founded Mediatrac Sistem Komunikasi in 2010. He was also the chairman for communications agencies Isobar and Posterscope for over three years before selling out to Dentsu Aegis Network in 2014. Mediatrac was rebranded as Dattabot and Regi became its CEO in 2015. Dattabot started a data analytics project for local farmers, spinning it off in 2014 as a social enterprise CI-Agriculture that owns HARA.

In 2013, he left PKF Hadiwinata and joined Deloitte, becoming Assistant Manager Auditor. In 2016, he joined Ivan Tambunan and two other co-founders to begin developing an equity crowdfunding site which became Akseleran. He left Deloitte in 2017 after launching Akseleran and became Akseleran's CFO. He remains Akseleran's CFO after the company's pivot into P2P lending.
