CTO and Founder of CH Biomedical
With a doctorate in mechanical engineering from the University of Maryland, Frank Lin has over 25 years of technical and managerial experience in medtech and aerospace. Before founding CH Biomedical in 2008, he was the principal staff engineer at Kriton Medical, the predecessor of HeartWare International (now Medtronic), leading the computational fluid dynamic design of its Heartware Ventricular Assist Device (HVAD) system. Lin holds 15 US and international patents in left ventricular assist device and turbomachinery. He is also an adjunct professor at the Academy of Engineering and Technology, Fudan University.

It was founded by David Li, Warburg Pincus's former Asia head, with a US$1.5 billion hard cap. It raised US$925 million in first close in June 2018. Centurium's limited partners include GIC, China Investment Corporation and Temasek Holdings. Centurium has cooperated with UCAR and Lepu Medical Technology to set up and manage two industrial M&A funds with initial funds of over RMB 6 billion.

The fund was initially be valued at RMB 10bn, with plans to increase this figure to RMB 100bn. It operates through direct investment and sub-funds.It mainly invests in early-stage tech companies as well as leading players that apply AI technologies in various verticals.

He has a computer engineering degree and a master’s in Consultancy and Information Systems Implementation from the University of Deusto in Spain.He worked as a logistics consultant before co-founding business consultancy EBS in the African country of Angola. He returned to Portugal in 2001 and worked as a project manager for over eight years. He was also a director at Strategos until 2014. Gomez was the CEO and co-founder of Tradiio until April 2019.

Miguel Matos is a Portuguese entrepreneur and co-founder of FarmCloud, where he has been CEO and head of business development since 2016.
