Co-founder and CEO of Kumparan
Hugo Diba has a master’s in Management from the University of Indonesia. Prior to becoming the CEO of Kumparan in August 2016, Hugo had previously served as the commercial director of Detik.com from 2007 to 2011, before his one year tenure as business director of Detikcom and CNN Indonesia. Hugo also has ample experience in the digital marketing and adtech industry as a country sales director of CtrlShift, one of the largest Asian programmatic companies that was formed from the merger of AdzCentral, Better Digital Solutions and Asia Digital Ventures.

Alvin Kumarga is an experienced technical consultant and a Magna Cum Laude graduate in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University, USA. Alvin was a market research intern and later became a special projects consultant at Hybrid Silica Technologies before graduating in 2011. He worked in Boston at Stroud Consulting before returning to Indonesia in 2014 to work for the Boston Consulting Group (BCG).He left BCG in October 2015 to develop new products and corporate business for online travel agency Traveloka. Liris Maduningtyas graduated in 2014 with a degree in Electrical Engineering from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. She had worked as an assistant teacher for a program run by the university and Schneider Electric. After finishing her final year project at Chevron, she joined Schlumberger as a field engineer stationed in Riau, Indonesia. Liris left a year later to join fellow UGM graduates to establish electronics startup Atnic. Liris managed the marketing and financial affairs of Atnic that created Jala for shrimp farmers, and was promoted to CEO of Jala in 2018.

Founder and CEO of Tiger Brokers. Wu Tianhua received his B.S. & M.S in Computer Science from Tsinghua University. Later, he co-founded Youdao, a new online education startup under the Nasdaq-listed NetEase group. By the time he left, Youdao’s user base had grown to the hundreds of millions. Wu had begun to familiarize himself with investing when he was an undergraduate and started to invest in the US stock market around 2010. Investing in the US stock market was very complicated then and in 2014, he decided to build his own service to make investing easier.

He left GPM and closed down his chocolate delicatessen in 2012 to focus on Beonprice as co-founder and CEO.

In 2005, Lin graduated from the University of Cambridge with a master’s degree in Engineering. Upon graduating, he worked at the British Standards Institution as Chief Representative of China. In 2007, he co-founded AISpeech with Gao Shixing and Yu Kai. He created AISpeech’s oral English teaching business unit and focused on the development of speech assessment technology.
