Banker-turned-toymaker Miguel Pina Martins started his educational toys business, Science4you, as his final-year project at University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE), where he was studying Finance. Upon graduation, he worked as an analyst at Banco de Investimento Global for four months before quitting to focus on his startup full time. Miguel Pina Martins was born in 1985. In 2018, he published a book A Ciência de Brinca (The Science of Play in English), about his business experiences.

He has worked at Citibank, HSBC and Asuransi Syariah Mubarakah before becoming the managing director of oil company PT Ranji Karya Sakti in 2012.In 2013, he founded Eempat Kapital, using the boutique investment and consulting company as a springboard for other ventures including Muslimarket, Rifat Drive Labs, Kurirmart and social media consulting firm Sharkcode Indonesia.

He also founded Sudut Indonesia, a social media traveller’s guide to Discover Amazing Indonesia in 2014. Galuh also worked as a digital marketing consultant at Ditto Anindita’s B2B ticket aggregator site OkeTiket. He then became a co-founder of an AI-powered chatbot, responsible for Botika’s business development and partnerships.

A chance meeting with French agronomist Mathieu Le Bras led to the development of an SMS-based information network for farmers and the creation of 8villages. Diego Nodar López is co-founder and head of R&D at Alén Space, where he is responsible for the development of the company's proprietary hardware and software. Nodar began his career at Vigo University's Aerospace Group, before working at Alén Space and the Aerospace Innovation Center in Galicia. Nodar studied telecommunications engineering, computing and electronics at Spain's Vigo University and holds a degree in Radiocommunication and Electromagnetic Engineering. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Space Technology.
