Co-founder and CTO of Bizhare
Giovanni Umboh has been a software engineer since 2014, specializing in Java, working first at software development company Indocyber Global Technology and then at Emerio, a subsidiary of Japanese telecommunications giant NTT. Giovanni left Emerio in 2017 to join equity crowdfunding startup Bizhare, where he is CTO. He is also concurrently a software engineer at Blanja.com. Giovanni holds a diploma in Informatics Management from Bina Sarana Informatika, Indonesia.

The premium online service provides transactional and financial information on Latin American and Iberian markets (M&A, Capital Markets, Project Finance and Acquisition Finance). Before ZUVINOVA, he was a director at Iberpartners and a business consultant for Accenture UK. Trinité received his International MBA degree from IE Business School and his master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior de Informática e Gestão (ISIG). He also attended the Wharton Global Consulting Practicum at the University of Pennsylvania.

Early stage or pre-Series A funding of up to US$500,000 will be awarded to each startup, as well as strategic commercial consultancy and support services to boost the expansion of the VC’s portfolio firms.

His work experience included two months at the Ritz Carlton and four months at Eleven Madison Park. On returning home, he became the head chef of Winston Manusama Hospitality Group for eight months in Jakarta in 2014. He was also a consultant for Il Cielo restaurant in Bali for seven months. Chris met Votinc co-founders Markus Liman Rahardja and Alvin Evander Subagyo while working at a dining event. The three later co-founded an automated job matchmaking platform Zelos.

Born in 1982, Chen Qi graduated from Wuhan University with a bachelor’s degree in Remote Sensing in 2005, the same year as fellow alumnus Gong Huaze.
