Harvard Law graduate Shinta Nurfauzia earned her bachelor's degree in law at Universitas Indonesia. After working as a banking and finance associate at Allen & Overy Indonesia, and as a law associate at Lubis, Santosa & Maramis, Nurfauzia received the prestigious Indonesia Endowment Fund For Education Scholarship to Harvard Law School. Post-Harvard, Nurfauzia worked as a consultant to the Indonesian government sustainability program (REDD+) before founding the healthcare platform Konsula. She started her first business at 14 years old, a pancake business, and then a luxury bag reseller business.After Konsula pivoted to health food company Lemonilo, Nurfauzia remained at the company. She is currently Lemonilo’s co-CEO, sharing the role with Ronald Wijaya.

Mark Goldstein is an angel investor, fundraiser and entrepreneur. He is the founder of Bad Ass Advisors, a matchmaking service for startups and advisors, and also started 12 companies, including back office solutions provider BackOps. Goldstein is best-known for being the private investment manager of Marc Benioff, the billionaire CEO, chairman and founder of Salesforce and owner of Time magazine. With his wife Kristen Koh Goldstein, he operates Marc Benioff's private investment vehicle Efficient Capacity, which invests in two to three early-stage startups a month. He is also an angel investor and participated in a funding round of Diamond Foundry, the first carbon-neutral producer of lab-grown diamonds.

Entrepreneur First is a global entrepreneur incubator program and early-startup investor. The incubator is an intensive six-month program for founders and aspiring entrepreneurs to help them develop ideas that can go into building their own companies. The program is held in six cities around the world: Bangalore; Berlin, London, Paris, Singapore and Toronto (Canada).Participants do not need to have a startup or a specific business idea to participate, and those who have established their own companies can seek partners or co-founders at the program. Roughly 40-50% of the cohort reach the “Launch” phase, where the participants have established their own companies and received investments from Entrepreneur First and potentially other VCs. Entrepreneur First can invest in a startup built by program participants in exchange for 10% equity. The exact amount invested varies: £80,000 for the European programs; S$75,000 for the Singapore and Bangalore programs; and C$100,000 for the Canada program.

He is also the chairman and CEO of Intelligent Sensing Anywhere (ISA), an IoT firm in energy, oil and gas. He is a former chairman of the Portuguese Aerospace Industry Association (PEMAS).Costa has a master’s in Computer Science from the University of Coimbra. He co-founded and exited Critical Software, one of Portugal’s first startups. The business application development company has its roots at the University of Coimbra and secured NASA as its first client.

Ideabox Ventures is a VC launched by Indonesian telecoms Indosat Ooredoo, Kejora Ventures and Mountain Partners SEA in November 2016. The VC was an addition to the existing annual accelerator Ideabox program that had nurtured startups like Dealoka, Pawoon and Wobe. More venture capital is expected to come from new partnerships with global institutions in Asia, Europe and North America. Early stage or pre-Series A funding of up to US$500,000 will be awarded to each startup, as well as strategic commercial consultancy and support services to boost the expansion of the VC’s portfolio firms.

KK Fund is named after Koichi Saito and Kuan Hsu. Founder and general partner Koichi was formerly from IMJ Investment Partners and a private equity fund run by George Soros. Co-founder and general partner Kuan had previously worked at Goldman Sachs, Temasek Holdings and GREE Ventures.Another KK partner or LP is Masahiko Honma, co-founder and general partner of Incubate Fund based in Japan. KK Fund focuses mainly on internet and mobile startups in Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Taiwan; with possible seed stage funding ranging from US$100,000 to US$400,000 per startup.

Apostolos Apostolakis is a serial entrepreneur turned investor. He has a Civil Engineering degree from NTUA and an MBA from Columbia Business School. His entrepreneurial career started after working two years as a consultant for the Boston Consulting Group until 2004. He became a co-founder and board member of various companies including VentureFriends, InstaShop, Douleutaras.gr, e-food.gr, Doctoranytime.gr and Blueground (formerly Openfund and Taxibeat). In 2010, he started investing in other startups, focusing on e-marketplaces and SaaS.

ENISA is a Spanish public company under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism. Since 1982, it has been actively supporting innovative business projects of SMEs in Spain. ENISA co-invests up to 50% of the capital, with the remaining 50% to be provided by other co-investors or founders. The funding ranges from a minimum of €25,000 to a maximum of €300,000. Unlike banks, ENISA offers interest-free finance based on a company's profitability. In this way, it allows startups to adjust their financial burdens according to each company’s natural business life cycle.
