Communications Officer of AEInnova
Ramón Voces Merayo is a co-founder of AEInnova, serving as its Communications Officer. He is also a professor at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), the Open University of Catalonia (UOC) and the Salesians School. Voces began his career as a web developer before joining the UAB team. His major research interests are related to Internet technologies, in particular KM, UX, SEO/SEM and Accessibility. Voce holds a bachelor's degree and PhD in Information Science and a bachelor's in Telecommunication Engineering.

Julio Díaz Hernández worked as an electrical engineer for Spain's ITP group for two years before joining aerospace manufacturer ITD in 2001. He became ITD's head of systems design business unit based at Getafe before leaving in 2015 to become the co-founder and CEO of Unmanned Technical Works (UTW).The MBA postgrad, mechanical engineering and industrial electronics alumnus from Madrid's Polytechnic University also co-founded Aventix as CEO. Aventix provides personalized engineering services to UTW and other clients in the aerospace, ICT, railway, automotive and energy sectors.

A developer with over 10 years of experience, Pedro Araújo received his bachelor’s in Computer Science and his master’s in Informatics from the University of Minho. He worked as a web developer and junior programmer at several companies before joining WeDo Technology as a developer and analyst in 2011. In 2013, Araújo joined Network Locum as senior Python/Django developer, leaving the company in 2015 to start Attentive, where he still serves as CTO. Previously, he had co-founded Portuguese startup and events directory NovaWeb with his brother Daniel. NovaWeb closed in 2015.

An expert in graphics hardware, Jason Yang obtained both his master’s degree and a doctorate in Computer Science from MIT in 2002 and 2004 respectively. He worked as a technical director at AMD from 2005 to 2016, taking multiple roles from senior engineer to senior manager of GPU Performance Engineering.He co-founded a mobile game and game services company Kumakore in 2012. He left the startup in 2014 and co-founded DGene as CTO in 2016, in charge of R&D for light-field technology.

Xu served as CTO at Fourier Intelligence from 2015 to 2018, at which time he left to found new exoskeleton startup ULS Robotics.

Among its most recent investments in early 2021 are the $11.5m Series A round of US low-emission hydrogen producer C-Zero and in the $50m Series B round of US sustainable metal producer Boston Metals.
