Co-founder and Head of Talent & Culture of Mambu
Portuguese national Sofia Nunes holds a bachelor’s in psychology from the Higher Institute of Applied Psychology in Lisbon and a master’s in Human-Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University. She is currently head of Talent & Culture at Mambu, a startup she co-founded, where she supports a growing team of engineers, application specialists, salespeople and marketers. In 2010, Nunes worked as a Human-Computer Interaction researcher at the Helsinki Institute for Information Technology.

Mathieu Le Bras is an agronomist by training, with a master’s in Agriculture from ISA Lille, France. He has worked for major organizations such as the WTO, GE and Syngenta. In 2012, he established 8villages with Indonesian social media entrepreneur Sanny Gaddafi. Mathieu later left the startup and moved to the United Kingdom to pursue other ventures. He is currently the managing director of Maison du Pain, a London bakery with buyers from all over Europe.

Jeff Hendrata co-founded motorcycle-mounted billboard firm Karta in 2016. He started his first company, digital media agency Brit-e2, in 2012 after graduating from Universitas Bina Nusantara with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Between 2012 and 2015, Jeff acted as Brit-e's CEO, overseeing projects with major clients, including Indonesia's fourth largest bank, CIMB Niaga and consumer products group Orang Tua. He remains an advisor to Brit-e after Karta was established.

After graduating with a bachelor's in Accounting from Universitas Widyatama, Indonesia in 2000, Saut joined Halliburton's Indonesian operations, eventually becoming senior accountant. In 2008, he joined Shell as a finance advisor for their lubricant supply chain and logistics divisions. Saut left Shell in 2016 to focus on Andalin, where he is currently COO.

In 2017, the two of them launched Tutellus.io, an ambitious project to tokenize the education system through a blockchain-powered and incentive-based model.

She worked for global business publisher EMAP from 2005 until 2009, when she joined Dyson Inc as e-commerce managing director (MD). In 2013, she left Dyson to become MD of fintech PayLater based in Switzerland run by the Wonga payday loan company. Known then as Tessa Cook, she later became Wonga’s MD for eight months when she was tasked with “cleaning up” the tarnished reputation of the high interest loan company. From 2013 to 2021, she was also chair of the management board of St George’s Palace, a boutique apart-hotel and spa complex in Bansko, Bulgaria.In 2018, she became a fellow at Unreasonable, an organization that supports social and environmental entrepreneurship.
