Founder and President Commissioner of Kumparan
After 18 years with Indonesia’s largest online news portal Detikcom, Budiono Darsono finally retired in September 2016 as the CEO of PT Detik TV Indonesia, also known as CNN Indonesia. With just IDR 40 million in 1998, Budiono built Detikcom with the help of senior journalists, Yayan Sopyan, Abdul Rahman, Didi Nugrahadi and Calvin Lukmantara. PT Trans Corporation paid US$60 million to acquire Detikcom in 2011. Budiono had also previously worked as a journalist for various newspapers including Surabaya, Majalah Tempo, Biro Tempo and Berita Buana since 1984.

Christian Sutardi graduated in 2010 with a degree in Finance and Management from the University of Hamburg in Germany. After working as an analyst in Germany for eight months, he moved to Indonesia to join Foodpanda as head of Sales and Operations until February 2013. He co-founded Lolabox, a beauty box service that was shut down after one year due to procurement problems in 2014. He then worked at Monk Hill’s Ventures as an associate for a year before leaving to become a co-founder of Fabelio in 2015. He is also an Endeavor entrepreneur.

Fransiska Hadiwidjana is a young technopreneur and coder. The graduate in Informatics Engineering is a co-founder of AugMI Labs in USA that won the Thomson Reuters Data Prize at the MIT US$100K Entrepreneurship Competition in 2013. In 2015, when researching China’s macro economy, she spotted the huge market potential of the country’s agriculture sector, given changes in China's population policy (the one-child policy was soon ended).In 2016, she left Goldman Sachs to found Farm Friend with Yu Yang and Meng Fanqi.Hou was named to the 2017 Forbes China 30 elites under 30 list.

Describing himself as a cashless believer, Danny Lim Wei Xiang has a master’s in Professional Accounting from Tsinghua University in China. The law graduate is also reading a PhD in Law at his alma mater. Danny has worked as a product manager at Baidu and as a financial analyst for Lenovo, before joining games developer Wozlla as VP of Sales and Marketing in 2014. In October 2016, he joined Wozlla’s co-founder Zac Cheah to establish Pundi-Pundi. He is currently the CFO of Pundi X, a cryptocurrency spin-off of Pundi-Pundi.

Germán León is an experienced UX/UI innovator and investor who is the Chief Experience Officer (CXO) and co-founder of Gestoos, a gesture recognition startup. Before establishing Gestoos, León was the European director of Oblong Industries, the firm that developed the technology used in the Steven Spielberg movie Minority Report. León had also co-founded Imersivo, the first customer recognition company that connects online shoppers to physical retail stores.

Upon graduation, he worked briefly on B2B market analysis at the Vilnius office of Euromonitor International, an independent strategic market research provider. After returning to China in 2007, Li became head of R&D on cryogenics at Shanxi Energy Industries Group Co., Ltd. From November 2009 until early 2015, he served as a lecturer at Shanxi University of Finance and Economics. In February 2015, Li founded Sennotech in Shenzhen.

He graduated from Curtin University, Australia with a bachelor's in Economics, specializing in electronic commerce. Jonathan has since helped to expand his family business, building a social media network for doctors and developing ApotikAntar, a service for delivering medicine from licensed pharmacies to customers. In 2016, he combined the medicine delivery service and online interaction with doctors to create Halodoc, a healthcare platform startup backed by the Mensa Group.

In 2015, he co-founded DuduBus, where he is now mainly in charge of the shared-car business PonyCar, which was incubated by DuduBus.
