Lei is co-founder, chairman and CEO of Xiaomi, one of the world’s largest smartphone companies. Born in December 1969, he holds a degree in Engineering from Wuhan University. With a personal net worth of US$11.2 billion, Lei has invested in 33 companies as a business angel, including Vancl.com, UCWeb, and YY Inc., a live streaming social media platform in China. Tovan Krisdianto started his career as an auditor at KPMG Indonesia before moving on to work at Schlumberger. After graduating in 2003 from the Prasetiya Mulya Business School with a master’s in Management, he worked as a CFO at PT Trouw Nutrition Indonesia (Nutreco) and also at Coda Payments. He co-founded an online education services provider HarukaEdu in February 2013. He is the CFO of PT Haruka Edukasi Utama. He also runs his own business as the founder of TTT Coaching and Consulting. He had also worked as an associate lecturer at Binus Business School in 2014.

At the age of 19, Alvin Yap started his first business while studying at Ngee Ann Polytechnic in Singapore. The retail venture for customized phone screen covers was dissolved after one year in 2005. The young business student had also worked at McDonald's, becoming a crew leader within the first year in 2001.During his national service as a platoon sergeant in 2008, Alvin and friends often joined and won several business enterprise competitions. Alvin went on to set up mobile games portal TheMobileGamer that lasted for over six years until April 2015. Laku6 was established a month later.

Tommy Yuwono founded his first venture, a business publication Milestone Interactive Digital magazine in 2011, while reading a business degree at Prasetiya Mulya Business School. After graduating in 2014, he joined securities company MNC Sekuritas to specialize in investment banking products like bond and medium-term notes for public and private companies.In 2016, he left MNC to become the chief digital officer and co-founder of online payments platform Ayopop. After securing Series A funding for Ayopop, he left and established education loan platform Pintek as CEO in 2018, together with Ayopop's CFO Ioann Fainsilber as co-founder.  

A former business analyst and adviser to the Bank of Portugal, Sérgio Vieira obtained his MBA from the University Institute of Lisbon. He gained experience in business at consultancy firm Roland Berger and in logistics as a controller at Adicional Logistics. Currently CEO of 360imprimir, a printing B2B online store he co-founded in 2013, he was an assistant professor at the University Institute of Lisbon, where he lectured in Management Accounting and Management Control, for almost seven years. He also holds a degree in Management and Business Administration from the University Institute of Lisbon.

As part of Che Meng, one of the first startups in China’s automotive aftermarket, Chen Min (b. 1981) witnessed Che Meng’s boom and bust in three years, learning a valuable lesson about business and the sector.Chen was named to the 2016 Fortune China's 40 under 40 list of the most powerful young people in business.

Shen Peng had first tried founding a startup while studying finance at Beijing's Central University of Finance and Economics from 2006 to 2010. In 2009, he joined Meituan – now known as Meituan Dianping – as its tenth employee. At the age of 23, he was in charge of Meituan's group buying business in north China. Shen was also a key player when Meituan expanded into the food delivery business. He received his master's degree in retail management from the Neoma Business School through a partnership with the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing. He founded Waterdrop in 2016 and has served as its CEO since.
