With about $2 billion under management, this VC fund invests primarily in early- and growth-stage global companies with substantial businesses in China, namely in the semiconductor, Internet, wireless, new media and cleantech sectors. GSR Ventures has backed Didi, Ele.me, among others, and was involved in the $2.8 billion purchase of an 80% stake in Philips's LED components and automotive business. CP Group is a multinational company founded by Chia Ek Chor and Chia Siew Whooy in Bangkok in 1921. Also known as Charoen Pokphand Group, the conglomerate does business in retail, telecommunications, real estate and finance. It has over 350,000 employees working for 400 subsidiaries in more than 100 countries and regions. In the past 30 years, CP Group has invested over RMB 12 billion in China.

Founded in 1995, Shenzhen Sunrise New Energy Co. Ltd., formerly known as Shenzhen Rainbow Fine Chemical Industry Co. Ltd., was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2008. Its main lines of business include Lithium-ion battery, photovoltaic power generation and New Energy bus operation. In 2016, it set up a fund to invest in autonomous driving, wireless charging, advanced parking management, artificial intelligence and robotics sectors.

Founded in 2004, Active Venture Partners is based in Barcelona and has two VC funds totaling €74 million. The company has made 40 investments and managed nine exits, including cloud-based reservation platform Restaurants.com, business intelligence tool for hotels ReviewPro and ticket marketplace Ticketbis. The VC was the lead investor in 18 funding rounds to date, with the most recent being a €1-million round for sales and marketing platform Whisbi.

Zriser Group is a Valencia-based family office fund started in 2007 by Ana and Pablo Serratosa Luján as a way to diversify their family investment strategy. The decision led to a diversified asset management scheme previously based on corporate acquisitions, then to a diversified portfolio of business and real estate investments.The firm has invested to date in eight tech-startups in the Spanish ecosystem.

He also holds an MBA from ESADE Business School and has more than 20 years international experience in sales in multinational companies and high-tech digital transformation and industrial startups (HP, Asea Brown Boveri, Abrast, Logitek, Parkare, IMAGO light in motion and Nexiona).  He co-founded Skinlight in 2002.

Seed Capital Bizkaia is a division the Department of Economic and Territorial Development of Bizkaia province. Created in 1991, the seed capital investment fund supports the growth of small businesses with established operations in Spain's Bizkaia region. The firm invests in startups from different business sectors in the form of participatory loans or by contributing up to €300,000, with share participation of up to 45%.

BASF Venture Capital is the investment arm of the BASF Group. Founded in 2001, the VC also has offices in Ludwigshafen, San Francisco, Boston, Austin, Shanghai, Sao Paulo, Mumbai and Tel Aviv.Global investments include stakes in young, fast-growing companies involved in agritech, chemistry, new materials, sustainability, digitalization and disruptive business models. The firm also holds shares in technology funds that target enterprises in Asia, North America and South America.

As one of the original enterprises of the Japanese Mitsubishi Group, Mitsubishi Motors started its automotive business in the pre-World War era. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries produced and imported cars for local use. The automotive company became part of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance in 2016 after Nissan acquired a controlling stake in Mitsubishi Motors. Indonesia's Gojek is its latest investment to expand into the ride-hailing tech sector in Southeast-Asia.

Daniel Araújo first became interested in startups while earning his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management at Católica Porto Business School. He went on to earn his master’s in International Business Development from the American Business School in Paris. After five years working in research and analytics at Google UK and Ireland, Araújo returned to Portugal to launch startup Attentive in 2015. He also co-founded online Portuguese startup and events directory NovaWeb with his brother Pedro while at Google. Araújo is also a mentor at the accelerator Techstars and a Global Shaper for the World Economic Forum's Lisbon Hub.

Albert Icart Martori is co-founder and CEO at Kibus Petcare, the first hardware that automatically cooks and dispenses healthy pet food. He has worked there since 2018. Prior to this, he worked at his family's pet food business Picart Petcare as its Head of Sales and Marketing for almost four years. Picart has been in operation since the 1950s and exports to over 25 European countries and other markets. Icart studied a first degree in Business at Barcelona's ESADE business school and is also a member of Europe's largest organization of business leaders Réseau Entreprendre, known as Netmentora in Catalonia.

Captii Ventures focuses on building Southeast Asian based startups by providing access to entrepreneurial expertise and experience to support business growth and development. It is a multi stage investor, with a special interest in mobile tech startups, marketplace platforms that facilitate better matching of supply and demand and in new media that disrupts traditional communication channels. It likes startups that use technology to solve age old problems. 

Born in 1972, Wang started out in finance in 1992 at Xiangcai Securities, where she was employed in multiple capacities. She founded Noah Wealth Management in 2005 and has served as chairperson and CEO ever since. In 2010, Noah became China's first wealth management firm to go public in the US. Wang holds an EMBA from China Europe International Business School.

Arthur Kosten is an adviser for Booking.com and other companies like Festicket and eVentures Africa Fund.  He was the former CMO and co-founder of Booking.com. Together with other business angels and VCs, he generally invests about US$200,000 to US$1 million in various marketplace platforms for expansion in Europe. He is also an investor and board member of rentalcars.com, catawiki.com, treatwell, 8fit.com, festicket and healthcare.com.
