Co-founder, CEO of Consumers Trust
Pedro Lourenço is the Portuguese co-founder and CEO of Consumers Trust, the company behind consumer complaints platform Portal da Queixa, founded in 2009. Since 2019, he has also been European Consumer Rights Ambassador at the European Commission, a position he was selected for thanks to his work at Consumers Trust. He is also co-founder and CEO at digital agency Megaklique Multimedia, and until 2015 was a co-founder of creative and innovation association Mexe-te. He holds a degree in Graphic Design, lives in Porto and is married to Consumers Trust co-founder Sónia Lage Lourenço.

Jiang Tong obtained bachelor's degrees in Civil Engineering from Tongji University and Control Science and Engineering from Zhejiang University between 2011 and 2016. Upon graduation, he joined a robotics startup founded by a team from Zhejiang university, Shanghai Seer Robotics Technology, working as an algorithm engineer from 2016 to 2017. He then joined Bumie Tech in 2017. He specializes in simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) and location algorithm. Jiang now serves as CTO at Onesight.

Lucas Llobet Cusí is the Spanish born CTO and co-founder of Evix Safety, designers of an algorithm controlled airbag for cycling helmets, where he has worked since 2018. He has also worked in engineering product design at Mecatecno. Llobet holds a degree in Industrial Design Engineering and Product Development from the Polytechnic University of Barcelona. Having seen his parents struggle to provide his brother with intensive physical rehabilitation, Virgílio Bento (b. 1984) understood the many pain points faced by the patients and their families. Bento graduated from the University of Aveiro with a master’s in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, and went on to pursue a PhD in Electrical Engineering. There, he developed SWORD Phoenix which would go on to be the technology behind SWORD Health, a startup Bento founded and of which he is currently CEO. Bento is also a co-founder of Findster Technologies, a dual pet tracker and fitness tech.

Knowles is a professor of physical chemistry and biophysics at Cambridge University, where he has worked since 2010 and manages the Knowles Lab which focuses on researching protein self-assembly underlying neurodegenerative disorders like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease. Knowles holds a PhD in Biophysics from the University of Cambridge and a degree in physics from ETH Zurich, a science and technology university.
